Q: What’s the difference between activated and unactivated custom firmware? Which one should i use?
A: If you use offical carrier then you should use the UNACTIVATED custom firmware. If you are using other sim cards ( not the official carrier sim cards ) should use the ACTIVATED custom firmware
Q: Does this firmwares update my baseband?
A: No they dont. You can use ultrasn0w after restore.
Q: Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3?!?! Do i need ALL OF THEM??!?!

Q: Ok , i downloaded the custom firmware, now what?
A: First you need to unpack them.
- If on a Mac, use BetterZip ( or what ever you want )
- If on Windows use SimplyZip ( or what ever you want )
Q: I got Cydia and Icy, but i dont want Icy. What do i do?
A: You can uninstall it via Cydia, or install Cydelete ( via Cydia ) and uninstall it from your springboard like you normally do with appstore apps.
Connect your iPhone, open iTunes, put your iPhone in DFU mode and hit Shift+Restore. Browse for your custom firmware that you just downloaded and restore your iPhone with it. Thats it.

Just to make sure i avoid questions regarding the use of this custom firmwares:
- Turn off your iPhone.
- Hold down the power and home button.
- When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but continue holding the home button down.
- Open iTunes and wait for it to tell you that its in restore mode.
Alternative Method:
- Connect iphone to USB then listen to the sound when it connect and disconnect.
- Hold the home and power buttons until hear the disconnect sound then release power button.
- Wait until you hear another sound then release home button
