During its iOS 8 unveiling yesterday, Apple went into detail about its new mobile operating system but overlooked an important detail for some iPhone owners: WiFi calling support.
In the fall, when iOS 8 will become available to the public, T-Mobile subscribers ( and other supporting networks ) will be able to use WiFi hotspots for phone calls instead of using their cellular reception and/or worry about roaming fees.
Android and Windows Phones have supported this feature for a while, so it is a welcome addition for all iOS fans.
