Apple has just released the first update to OS X El Capitan which was released to the public on September 30. The update is available to all users running El Capitan, and you can update to OS X 10.11.1 via the Software Update mechanism in the Mac App Store
in the release notes, Apple says that OS X 10.11.1 fixes several major bugs that users have been experience with El Capitan, introduces support for Unicode 7 and 8 adding over 150 new emoji including the middle finger, taco, burrito, cheese wedge, hot dog, popcorn, and unicorn head – emojis that are also included in iOS 9.1.
