Engadget reported the AT&T got the word out about iPhone MMS: it will be here on September 25th. Now i have no idea what AT&T understands by “summer” , but to me rainy days and rusty leafs is not summer.
We still dont have a certain date for tethering but they have a “damn good” reason for the delay:
by its nature, this function could exponentially increase traffic on the network, and we need to ensure that some of our current upgrades are in place before we can deliver the expanded functionality with the excellent performance that customers expect.
A couple of months back , our AT&T insider told us the same thing : basically everything is ready, but we need to make sure all of our equipment will be ready. I mean, i might be a rebel or a dreamer, but from my point of view, but when you release something, dont you need to have at least the alpha version ready? How can you tell millions of people that you’re going to give them something and a couple of months later you say sorry it’s the equipment? AT&T?!?! Apple?!?! Anybody…?!?!?!
