New day, new app in Cydia: ErProfile. ErProfile allows you to create and use custom profiles for the iPhone. You will also be able to set your own MP3 from iTunes as ringtones for calls or text messages.
This is great, but i will have to disappoint you from the beginning of the article by telling you that ErProfile is not free. You will get 15 days free trial , and then you will have to pay $5.99 for it.
First thing you need to do after you installed ErProfile, is to run the app, and input your email address and tap on get license. After you are activated, you will see the main screen of the app. Don’t be tempted to play with it just yet. Tap on the settings button at the bottom of the screen ( only 2 buttons ) and turn ON “Enable ErProfile” first.
Moving back into the main screen, find 3 profiles (or patterns of use) :
- Sleeping (at night or whenever you decide to take a nap) which cuts off the ringer and other sounds
- Meeting (meeting) only vibration
- Standard (normal) with all its assets
Clicking on the Edit button at the top right you can customize these profiles, adjusting the volume and ring tones. you can choose the pre-set ringtones on the iPhone, songs loaded via SSH or the music of our library (without limits of 30 seconds).
When you are done, just go back and exit the “edit”. You should then click on the desired profile and exit by pressing Home.
