Today Apple released iOS 7.0.5 for some iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c devices with a minor update to correct network provisioning in China for some iPhone 5s and 5c models sold in China, Europe, and Asia Pacific. We warned jailbreakers to stay way from the update button in case iOS 7.0.5 shows up, but if you update your device, there’s still hope. According to i0n1c, the new firmware is still vulnerable to the evasi0n7 butm a patch to the tool’s binary will be necessary before you can re-jailbreak. That being said, the evad3rs team will probably update evasi0n7 to support the new firmware. We will keep you updated, stay tuned…
Of course the #evasi0n7 binary requires a patch to accept 7.0.5 – but once you do that it works fine.

To make evasi0n work with iOS 7.0.5 one way is to patch 11B511 into 11B601 in the binary.

Ehmm btw… the patch are not hex bytes but simple ASCII iOS build numbers that need to be fixed.
