Good news iPhone and iPad users — According to The New York Times, Google is currently working on a new ‘Google Maps’ for the iOS and they hope to have it finished by the end of the year.
FSM EXCLUSIVE DEAL The reason why it took Google so long to develop the app was because they expected it to remain on the iOS for some time—and they were caught off guard when Apple decided to replace Google Maps with its own version of Maps.
Google only found out about the change when Apple announced it publicly at the WWDC in June.
If Google does release Maps by the year-end, it would spell good news to iOS users, as there have been many complains on Apple’s Map—these include inaccuracies in addresses, poorly-rendered images and other mistakes.
