With the iPad, Apple has surpassed the one-million mark in Korea. The home of Samsung had little interest in tablet devices until the Cupertino-based company released the iPad 2 there, not too long ago.
With Apple’s latest tablet they have seen a surge of interest from Korea which has led them to control approximately 80% of the entire market there.
It’s worth noting though that the actual number of devices in Korea could be substantially higher as the figures are only based on devices sold there.
