AirMessage allows you to use Apple’s iMessage on your Android phone. There’s no hacking involved and the whole process is super simple.
Just install the AirMessage app from Google Play on your phone and the AirMessage server companion app.
However, there’s a catch. There might be a minimum invenstment required to get AirMessage up and running. You need a Mac that runs the AirMessage server companion app. If you already own a Mac, you’re good to go.
That’s not all bad news. You don’t need the latest and gratest Mac. Just any Mac that runs OS X 10.10 Yosemite or higher ( yeah, back then it was OS X not macOS ). Besides, when it comes to iMessage on Android you do want to own the server.
Also, worst comes to worst, you can also use the Mac as a Plex server for example. So it’s not such a bad investment.
