Using this tutorial , you can jailbreak and unlock iPhone EDGE, iPhone 3G, iTouch 1G/2G and iPhone 3Gs on Mac with RedSn0w Redsn0w 0.8, .Before you proceed, you must have installed the original 3.0. To do this you simply open iTunes and click Update.

Step 1
If you have not already, download the original firmware 3.0 on the desktop of your computer, and in the case you have an iPhone EDGE, you also need to download the two Bootloader files: bl39.bin and bl46.bin

Run the application and click on Browse. Select the original 3.0 firmware from the desktop of your computer and then click Next
