Apple keeps itself busy and they already updated their app store, introducing the first draft of iPad apps. There is a handful of apps, some free, but the average price seems to be $3.99. You should be very careful when you purchase apps now. Some of the apps got dual-compatibility, meaning they will work on iPhone and iPad , and you only need to buy the app once and you can use it on both devices.
You will know if an app has dual-compatibility, because it has a + sign next to the price ( see Pandora or IM+ in the screenshot above ) . But not all apps and games will work on both devices, so if you want to get your favorite iPhone app on your iPad, you will have to buy the iPad optimized version.
NOTE: iPhone apps will work ( at least, they should work ) on the iPad as well, BUT you will get a 320x480px and not the optimized full screen version of the app.
