In case you didn’t know, Apple’s A9 Chip found in the iPhone 6s is made by two different manufacturers. Some iPhones ship with a processor made by TSMC while others come with one made by Samsung. So what’s the difference between them? First of all, according to Chipworks the Samsung-made A9 chip is 10% smaller. Also, the TSMC model runs cooler and offers better battery life.
