iPhone Loosing Market Share

According to a study by ABI Research, and published by the Wall Street Journal, sales of the iPhone have begun to be the first slowdown from the fourth quarter of 2009.

The overall market share is decreasing from 18.1% to 16.6%. Despite an extremely successful fiscal quarter, Apple is loosing some points in the smartphone world ranking. This is mostly due to the recent release of many Symbian and Android devices beyond the fact that Apple will introduce a new model of iPhone in about 4 months.
