For its #1 issue of X-O Manowar comic, Valiant Entertainment has given the comic book a ‘talking’ feature.The cover of the comic book features a QR-Code, and a designated area where the iPhone should be placed.
FSM EXCLUSIVE DEAL Readers are encouraged to scan the QR-Code, which would lead them to a YouTube video, and place their iPhones on the cover.
With the augmented-reality trick, the video replaces character’s mouth on the cover with an animated version to relay the comic’s story.
