Most people generally take screenshots to share something interesting with someone else. For example, they may take a screenshot of a conversation in Messages, a funny website or picture, or even a Snapchat conversation. If you take a lot of screenshots, you might want to take a look at ScreenshotShareSheet – a new Cydia tweak that basically takes ClipShot to the next level.
ScreenshotShareSheet allows you to share a screenshot immediately after taking it by displaying a share sheet similar to the options in Photos.app. So to make this simple: you take a screenshot of your screen ( Home button + sleep button ) and you’ll be presented with the pop-up screen you see in the screenshot above. From there you can easily choose to paste the screenshot in a text message, in a new email, new tweet, Facebook etc.
If you look closely to the screenshot above, you’ll notice an ‘Open in…’ button ( which can be enabled/disabled via the tweaks dedicated preference pane in Settings.app ). That button allows you to open your screenshots in 3rd party apps such as Dropbox, iFile or Photoshop.
In addition, ScreenshotShareSheet contains a setting to block screenshots from being uploaded to Photo Stream.
ScreenshotShareSheet is available for $0.99 on Cydia Store via BigBoss repo…
