A few days ago, in an interview with Forbes, Microsoft’s Chief Research and Strategy Officer Craig Mundie wasn’t shy to say that ‘[…] You’re right it’s good marketing but at least as a technological capability you could argue that Microsoft has had a similar capability in Windows Phones for more than a year, since Windows Phone 7 was introduced… All that’s already there, fully functional, been there for a year.’
The guys at TechAU decided to put Tellme and Siri in a oldschool side-by-side battle to show first hand that even though Windows Phones had Siri-like capabilities way before the iPhone ( that if you don’t count that Siri was a stand-alone app before was an iPhone feature ), Mundie’s statements are absurd.
