No Switcher Icons: Remove App Icons From The iOS 7 App Switcher [video]

With iOS 7, Apple introduced a new card-style multitasking app switcher UI, where users can swipe ( left and or right ) through card previews of open apps or ( up on a card ) close open apps. The new app switcher UI looks pretty sleek and now that we can jailbreak our iOS 7 devices, Sicarius makes it even better. The only problem is that underneath those preview app cards, Apple decided to display the icons of all the apps that are backgrounded.

If you ask yourself “where’s the problem?” just look at the screenshots above. While there’s only 3 preview cards per screen, somehow Apple had the genius idea to display 5 app icons underneath. It’s a mess.

If that minor ( for some ) UI imperfection bothers you as much as it bothers me, you need to install ‘No Switcher Icons’ right away. It’s free in Cydia ( via BigBoss repo ), adds no new icons on your SpringBoard and there’s no options to configure. Just install it, respiring your device and you’re done.
