Big day today. Our own, Casey Evanoff got approved in the AppStore with his new baby: T9App. You might know Casey from the FSMdotCOM community, where he introduced himself as cwe7976.
The program allows users to write messages and choose contacts using T9 predictive typing and intuitive swipe gestures, and then exports out to MobileSafari to send a free text message (with an update awaiting Apple’s approval that allows for messages to be sent via the default “Messages” program as well).
Although it is ugly (he tried to release it as version 1.ugly but Apple said no!) it is very practical, and subsequent updates will make it at least slightly more appealing to the eyes along with some heavy feature upgrades.
You can find it in the appstore for $0.99, but the first to comment on this post ( and of course makes the comment relevant to the post ) gets a promo code for the app. Casey gave it to me as a present, but i want to pass it on to one of you. Sorry i have only 1 code 🙁
If you still dont get the app, heres a video demo of it made by Casey:
